Adding images to your website

Images make your site pop—and Chariot’s AI website builder lets you drop them in seconds.

Quick Steps

  1. Open your website
    Go to your site in Chariot so that the chat window visible.
  2. Attach the file(s)
    • Click Attach image (bottom‑left of the chat).
    • Select up to 5 files ≤ 2 MB each (JPG or PNG).
    • Click Open; thumbnails appear in the chat.
  3. Tell the AI what to do
    Type clear, plain‑English commands, for example:
    • “Add this headshot to the About page for Kathy Simon.”
    • “Replace the hero banner with this beach photo.”
    • “Make this page match the layout in the screenshot.”
      The AI website generator updates the live preview instantly.
  4. Publish
    When the preview looks right, hit Publish to push the changes live.

Pro Tips

  • Be specific: Mention the page, section, or exact element.
  • Think alt text: “Set alt text to ‘Hand‑crafted tacos.’”
  • Swap fast: Re‑attach a new image and say “Replace the previous hero.”
  • Stay under 2 MB: Compress large photos before uploading.
